Launched in 2018, the Lamborghini Urus redefined the concept of a high-performance SUV, combining space and versatility with the dynamics of a supercar.

Continuing the tradition started by the LM002, but applying modern technologies, the Urus raised the standards in terms of power, design and handling for a luxury SUV. The name “Urus” comes from an ancient breed of wild bulls, emphasizing the imposing and aggressive character of the car.

Aesthetically, the Urus borrows elements from the Aventador and Huracán, but in a taller and more robust silhouette. The hexagonal front grille, Y-shaped lights and strongly contoured side lines give a dynamic air, even if the dimensions are considerable.

The integrated rear spoiler, diffuser and large wheels support the sporty look, and the side air intakes are designed to ensure efficient cooling of the biturbo engine. Unlike the LM002, the Urus manages to harmonize Lamborghini design with the practical requirements of a modern SUV.

What do you find under the hood of the Lamborghini Urus and what does the interior look like?

The Urus is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, capable of generating up to 650 hp and over 850 Nm of torque. This power ensures acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.6 seconds, rivaling many traditional supercars. The eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with active center differential allow excellent grip in various conditions, whether we are talking about the road, rough terrain or snow tracks.

The braking system, with carbon-ceramic discs, delivers impressive stopping power, and the air suspension with customizable modes (Strada, Sport, Corsa, Terra, Sabbia, etc.) offers flexibility and comfort.

Inside, the Lamborghini Urus combines luxury with cutting-edge technology. The dashboard features two touchscreens: one for infotainment and the other for climate control. The digital instrument cluster provides important information about the selected driving mode, while carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara finishes emphasize the attention to detail.

The high driving position offers excellent visibility, and the electrically adjustable seats with memory ensure comfort on long journeys. In addition, generous space for rear passengers and a spacious trunk make the Urus a practical choice for families or long-distance adventures.
