The Lamborghini Huracán debuted in 2014 as a replacement for the acclaimed Gallardo, designed to carry forward the brand's philosophy of offering a V10-powered supercar that is easy to use but at the same time high-performance.

Developed under the umbrella of the Volkswagen Group, the Huracán benefited from a series of technological innovations and a design that combines Lamborghini tradition with modern elements of style and aerodynamics.

Everything you need to know about the Huracán exterior and engine

On the outside, the Huracán is distinguished by a body with well-defined edges and large air intakes, designed to optimize engine cooling and ensure effective aerodynamic downforce.

The LED optical blocks and the low silhouette, along with the conventionally opening doors, create a compact and aggressive appearance. The rear diffuser and dual exhaust emphasize the sporty character, and certain versions, such as the Performante, integrate active spoilers for superior stability at high speeds.

The naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine delivers between 580 and 640 horsepower, depending on the version. This centrally mounted unit allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately three seconds and top speeds of over 320 km/h. The dual-clutch transmission (Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) shifts gears ultra-fast, offering the driver an extremely engaging experience.

The traction system can be all-wheel drive or, in some versions, only on the rear axle, for an added challenge and involvement at the wheel. Systems such as Lamborghini Dynamic Steering and the adaptive suspension optimize the car's behavior, offering superior handling and a high degree of control.

What awaits you inside a Huracán?

The cabin combines minimalism with cutting-edge technology. The digital instrumentation, displayed on a generous screen, allows the configuration of different driving modes: Strada, Sport and Corsa, each of which influences the engine response and chassis settings.

The sports seats, made of leather and Alcantara, offer excellent lateral support, and the carbon fiber or aluminum finishes emphasize the focus on performance. Although it remains a supercar, the Huracán is easier to handle in urban environments than its predecessors, while maintaining the brand's specific emotion.

Available in various configurations through the Plus Auto Marketplace, the Huracán continues to attract the attention of sports car enthusiasts who want a model that is reliable, refined, and yet explosive when the pedal is pressed to the floor.

From the basic versions to special editions such as the STO, the Huracán demonstrates that Lamborghini can offer a balance between supercar aggression and everyday usability.
