The Lamborghini Aventador was launched to continue the tradition of V12 models, already established by the Miura, Countach and Diablo. The Aventador is a supercar that aims to combine extreme performance with dramatic design, while remaining true to the brand's heritage.
First presented in 2011, this car quickly won the admiration of the automotive community for its power values and advanced technologies.
Distinctive exterior design for each Lamborghini Aventador model
The body of the Aventador impresses with sharp lines, geometric edges and a low profile, perfectly reflecting Lamborghini's design philosophy, focused on aerodynamics and aesthetic aggression.
The front hood has pronounced angles, LED lights emphasize the modern character, and large air intakes ensure optimal flow for cooling the V12 engine. The vertically opening doors, which have become a symbol of the brand since the Countach, complete the car's unique personality and increase the show factor.
V12 engine and ISR transmission
Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, producing over 700 horsepower in the initial versions, reaching up to 780 hp in the special editions. This centrally mounted unit delivers generous torque and quick response to the accelerator pedal, allowing the car to reach 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds.
The ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) transmission was specially developed to make gear changes as quick as possible, while maintaining a high level of driver involvement. The electronically controlled all-wheel drive provides excellent stability, both on circuit tracks and on public roads.
Aviation-inspired interior and customizable driving modes
The Aventador’s cabin combines premium leather and Alcantara with military-inspired instrument cluster, providing a digital display for important information.
The driver can choose between different driving modes, such as Strada, Sport and Corsa, each of which alters the engine, suspension and steering settings. The driving experience can oscillate between a relatively comfortable urban ride and a track mode that unleashes the car's full potential.
